An Exciting New Chapter for our Organization

I am excited to share an important milestone in our company’s journey.
After much thought and reflection, I have decided to change our company name from Solving Autism to Supporting Autism. Supporting Autism is the name we will begin using to represent our organization moving forward.
When I founded this company more than a decade ago, the name Solving Autism reflected my passion for helping children and families overcome the many challenges associated with an autism diagnosis. At the time, my goal was to “solve” the barriers that prevented children from reaching their fullest potential by providing high-quality, evidence-based ABA services.
Over the years, however, both my own perspective and the field of autism have continued to evolve. The word supporting better reflects who we are today and the values that guide our work.
Supporting means:
- Meeting each learner where they are.
- Celebrating neurodiversity while helping individuals achieve their personal goals.
- Partnering with families as they navigate their unique journey.
- Teaching meaningful, functional skills that improve independence and daily living.
- Providing compassionate, ethical, and individualized care grounded in evidence-based practice.
This name change is not a change in our commitment to clinical excellence. We will continue to hold ourselves to the highest standards of ABA practice, maintain our focus on measurable outcomes, and strive to provide exceptional care for every child and family we serve. Rather, this change reflects the evolution of our philosophy. It recognizes that our purpose has always been—and will continue to be—to empower individuals with autism to reach their fullest potential while respecting who they are as unique individuals.
I also hope this new name better communicates to the autism community that we stand beside them. We are here to support, advocate, teach, encourage, and celebrate progress in all its forms. Every learner’s journey is different, and success looks different for every family. Our responsibility is to provide the guidance, tools, and compassionate care that help make those journeys successful.
For business and legal purposes, you will continue to see Solving Autism LLC used alongside Supporting Autism as our “Doing Business As” (DBA) name for items such as billing, payroll, taxes, and other administrative processes. While our name is changing, our operations and services will remain the same.
I also want to reassure you that this change does not affect who we are as a team. Our values, our commitment to quality care, and our appreciation for each of you remain exactly the same. This new name is simply a better reflection of the heart of our organization and the meaningful work we do together every day.
I have been contemplating making this change for several years now due to feedback I have received regarding the word “Solving,” in more recent years, I feel it’s time for a positive change.
Thank you for your continued compassion, professionalism, and dedication. It is because of each of you that Supporting Autism is more than just a name; it is a reflection of the care, respect, and support you provide every day. I am excited for this next chapter and grateful to have each of you on this journey.
